Re-cordings

Recreating a childhood game, in which siblings are invited into a darkened room whilst we peeped from behind the curtains, Re-cordings observes the reactions of participants as they listen to cassette tapes from my childhood. Installation, 2 x video projectors, 2 x hard drives, speakers, DVD player, screen, headphones, 2008. Primary video: 8 channel composite video, colour, sound, randomized playout of QT files using Cycling74 (Max/Jitter). Secondary video: colour, sound, DVD, 13’04” loop.
